Trooper Josh Satterly Recognized at ACHS
Last week was a challenging and difficult week for Anderson County schools and our local community. We’d like to thank everyone for their support, prayers, emails, messages and calls. Our district is very blessed to have strong community leaders that work collaboratively for the safety and well-being of our students, staff and all of Anderson County. We’d like to give credit to and to thank those who protect and care for our students and community on a daily basis. Director of Public Safety Powell and his EMS staff, Fire Chief’s Krogman and Hume and their staff, 911 Director Sparrow and Lawrenceburg Dispatch, Sheriff Milam and the AC Sheriff’s department, Chief of Police Schell and the Lawrenceburg Police Department, School Resource Officers Lykins and Dunn, The Kentucky State Police and Federal Bureau of Investigation, and ACSchools principals, central office directors, teachers and staff. A special thanks to Trooper Josh Satterly, Lt Shawn Darby and Detective Jason Briscoe of the Kentucky State Police as well Anderson County Sheriff Joe Milam who eliminated a threat to AC students and staff, worked countless, tireless hours to ensure our safety and humbly take no credit for their heroic actions. They are to be commended for their service and we thank them for their actions. Today, Anderson County High School recognized Trooper Satterly at our annual Academic Breakfast. The Anderson County Board of Education will also recognize Trooper Satterly, Lt Darby, Detective Briscoe, Sheriff Milam as well as New Jersey resident Koeberle Bull at the November Board of Education Meeting. Anderson County Schools would like to extend a humble and gracious thank you to all involved in ensuring the safety of the students and staff of ACSchools. #TeamAC
